My first mezzotint with a rocking tool. The ones I did in the past were using several layers of aquatint then a scrapper and a burnisher like I used now. The image is imaginary, just couldn't wait to try the rocking tool and see the results.

Trying to make another portrait of late singer Laura Branigan. 

I made the drawing on toned paper with graphite pencil and white pastel pencil and kneaded eraser. Then I made an inkjet copy-print and added some colours with pastel pencils, then I got this.

I know there are some mistakes in the eyes but even though I made some corrections I can't get it right.

Maybe next time.
