today i started with a very quick and simple sketch (up-right) then added some detail on a second one (down-right) and made the last one. in fact all them are super quick sketches. Of course i colored them at home with gouache a-la-watercolour, hehe.

some gesture with a brush using a mix of acrylics and lots of water, then some invented drawing on them with a marker. these are only 4 of a larger series i did this evening.

woodcut 1 (part 2)
this is the first woodcut for school, which after several prints have made us carve some textures on the same one. now that i've printed some copies, today i've started to carve more open plains.

woodcut 2
i did this little woodcut (my second one!) for fun. Maybe I ll use it a school, but i dn't know if it'll fit the requirements for the subject. i made it after an image of late laura branigan, as a tribute to all the love she gave, and the pleasure she's given many of us with her voice & music.

life drawing
a life sketch i did yesterday. the first time i use a nib + india ink in a life sketch. it was fun though didn't feel very comfortable sketching while sitting on the floor, hehe

we started working on this still life several classes ago (painting class), i think i'll have it finished by next week, then i'll have to paint a new one but using some colour.
